Lolli Bijoux launches LolliGreen, a cocoa forest that grows together with the company. A concrete project to protect the environment with which the brand decides to commit itself to the good of the planet

The future of the planet also depends on small gestures and this is why Lolli Bijoux, handmade jewelry brand, in collaboration with Treedom, has chosen to allocate part of the revenues for the creation of a cocoa tree forest in Cameroon. An initiative that aims to make a material contribution to the battle for the protection of the environment, a theme that is particularly dear to the company, so much so that it translates into a concrete gesture: to finance the creation of a real Lolli Bijoux forest.

The initiative was born thanks to the partnership with Treedom, the only web platform in the world that allows you to plant a tree remotely and follow it online and thanks to which, since 2010, the year of its establishment until today, almost 1,000,000 have been planted of trees in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Italy. Each tree, including those from the newly formed Lolli Bijoux forest, is planted by a farmer in the chosen country, who takes care of it, allowing the donor to monitor its growth from a distance through a dedicated web page, with geolocation and photographs: a virtuous circle, capable of generating not only environmental benefits, therefore, but also economic and social benefits.

The young entrepreneur Lorenza Guerzoni, who founded the jewelry brand in August 2018, has decided to share the commitment with her customers, offering them the opportunity to contribute to the initiative thanks to the #LolliGreen campaign and the related purchase code which, from 1 February, allows customers to take part in the initiative, contributing, at no additional cost, to the fight for environmental protection.

Starting from this date, in fact, part of the proceeds from sales Lolli Bijoux will cover the expenses for the birth of the forest in Cameroon that the company has made possible in recent days and of which all customers can monitor the growth and development directly online on the dedicated page from the Treedom platform.

“I decided to follow this project – comments Lorenza Guerzoni – because I believe it is time for everyone to commit to a better world. And to believe it, with me, are millions of people, especially young people, all over the world. So I wanted to offer my customers the opportunity to do something in their own small way: many times we do little because we don’t think about it, we don’t have time, we don’t think of nice ideas. So I wanted to give a quick, immediate suggestion that costs practically nothing “.

From the sharing of values ​​and mission the partnership with Treedom was born, welcomed by the platform with great enthusiasm: “During the growth phase every tree planted is able to absorb CO2 from the atmosphere and produce oxygen at the same time: in this way it manages to improve the quality of the air that we all breathe. Planting a tree therefore means making a significant contribution to the well-being of the planet ”.
